A proud Bundjalung woman from Grafton, NSW, Sharn Geary now lives and works in Naarm (Melbourne). With a strong foundation in the creative industries, she studied Graphic Design at Billy Blue College of Design and spent over a decade in ecommerce fulfilment, working with leading creative brands such as Milligram and Koko Black.
Sharn’s true creative passion lies in jewellery. She has worked with a range of materials, from creating resin pieces for Dinosaur Designs to metalwork and silversmithing. Her involvement in the Koorie Heritage Trust’s Blak Design program, focused on contemporary jewellery, marked a powerful moment in her journey, bringing together her cultural heritage and creative expression.
As now Program Manager at The Torch, Sharn supports Indigenous artists in the justice system, helping to amplify their voices and foster pathways for reconnection through art. This role reflects her deep commitment to community, culture, and creativity.
