In my role as Program Manager with The Torch, I managed the team of Indigenous Arts Officers who work directly with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists in prison and in community. The Indigenous Arts Officers coordinated the artworks shown in this exhibition. I also coordinated the filming of artist films with Wiradjuri Videographer Josh Scott.

Fired Up: Stories Through Embers & Earth was an exhibition developed through the Blak Design Program 2023. In my role as Coordinator, I supported and coordinated the participation of nine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists residing in Victoria throughout the program.
The program included regular Zoom meetings with Blak Design participants, mentors, and staff from KHT and RMIT, alongside fortnightly in-person sessions held in the ceramics studio at RMIT in Naarm. The exhibition Fired Up, showcased the outcomes of the artists’ dedication and creative work developed during the program.
Layers of Blak was an exhibition developed through the Blak Design Program 2022. In my role as Coordinator, I supported and coordinated the participation of eleven Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists residing in Victoria throughout the program.
The program included regular Zoom meetings with Blak Design participants, mentors, and staff from KHT and RMIT, alongside fortnightly in-person sessions held in the gold & silversmithing studios at RMIT in Naarm. The exhibition Layers of Blak, showcased the outcomes of the artists’ dedication and creative work developed during the program.
Layers of Blak went on to tour for the next two years, around regional Victoria, and to South Australia shown at Jam Factory in Seppeltsfield for Tarnanthi 2023.
